Overview

Situated about 20 kms from the national capital, New Delhi, Unichem’s Ghaziabad plant enjoys the privileges of efficient infrastructure that is highly conducive for industrial development. Ghaziabad has four industrial sites, a population of over 1 million and is well connected by rail and road.

The Ghaziabad plant was founded in 1969 as a multi-product Pharmaceutical plant. Over the years, Unichem has put in tremendous effort to constantly improve quality standards and consistency.

In 2003, the manufacturing facility was completely upgraded to meet the international standards for the manufacture of Pharmaceutical formulations.

The Ghaziabad plant is approved by:

• Food and Drug Administration (US FDA),
• Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agencies (MHRA), UK,
• ANVISA-Brazil,
• WHO, Geneva; and
• Other regulatory authorities
